Solution
You will get about 2-3 points less profit per trade using spreadbetting because the SB spread is 4 points compared to 1 point spread and 1 point commission charges via futures.
Futures are the best way to go.
It is difficult to compare a $250 SB account because the margins are much less, You could trade between $1 to $3.
